PEEK CF30 is a carbon-fibre-reinforced grade of PEEK, engineered for applications that demand higher stiffness and load-bearing capacity than unfilled PEEK can provide. The 30% carbon fibre content increases tensile modulus and compressive strength while reducing thermal expansion, without compromising PEEK’s continuous operating temperature of up to 250°C or its resistance to acids, bases, hydrolysis and steam.
The carbon fibre reinforcement also improves electrical conductivity and further increases wear resistance under sliding and rotating contact, making PEEK CF30 well suited to structural, tribological and precision-engineered components operating under sustained mechanical load.
PEEK CF30 is used in aerospace structural components, precision engineering, semiconductor equipment, and mechanical parts subject to high stress and elevated temperature, wherever the stiffness of standard PEEK is insufficient.
Note: As with standard PEEK, the glass transition temperature of approximately 150°C should be considered during component design, as physical properties may shift beyond this point.
30% carbon fibre content significantly increases tensile modulus for components under structural load.
Reduced thermal expansion and improved creep resistance compared to unfilled PEEK.
Full PEEK-level resistance to chemicals, hydrolysis and steam up to 250°C continuous operating temperature.
Carbon fibre reinforcement further enhances resistance to friction and sliding wear.
